Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of UnToxic, including untoxic.app and the related UnToxic mobile app (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law to use the Service. The Service is intended for personal dating communication support.

UnToxic is an independent dating assistant and is not affiliated with Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Match, or other dating platforms unless expressly stated.

What the Service Provides

UnToxic is an AI dating assistant that suggests dating app replies, improves profiles, and flags toxic messages for mobile daters. The Service may offer AI-generated chat replies, conversation analysis, profile feedback, pickup lines, photo captions, and red-flag assessments.

Outputs are automated suggestions for informational purposes only. They are not professional therapy, legal advice, mental-health care, emergency assistance, or a definitive assessment of another person's intentions, character, or safety. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or influenced by missing context, sarcasm, and cultural differences. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions and deciding whether and how to use them.

We do not guarantee better dating results, successful relationships, or error-free operation.

Acceptable Use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable third-party platform rules.
• Do not use suggestions to harass, threaten, exploit, defraud, impersonate, or deliberately deceive other people.
• Do not submit unlawful content, non-consensual intimate imagery, or material that infringes another person's rights.
• Only submit screenshots, text, photos, and profile information that you have the right or lawful basis to share for analysis. Avoid including unnecessary identifying or sensitive information about others.
• Do not reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits, disrupt its operation, bypass safeguards or access limits, or access it through unauthorized automation.
• Do not treat AI red-flag assessments as conclusive safety advice. If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

AI Processing and Privacy

When you submit text or images for an AI feature, the content is transmitted through our servers to OpenAI's API for analysis and generation of a response. You acknowledge this processing when choosing to use these features. The Service's handling of uploaded screenshots, deletion practices, and OpenAI's separate retention policies are explained in our Privacy Policy.

UnToxic deletes uploaded screenshots from its servers after processing and does not maintain a permanent server-side history of users' AI conversations. Third-party service providers may process information under their own applicable terms and policies. Please review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal or third-party information.

Access, Subscriptions, and Payments

No user account required: The UnToxic mobile app does not require a separately created UnToxic account to use its features. Access to paid features may depend on a valid App Store purchase or subscription entitlement.

UnToxic PRO: Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to help check and manage subscription entitlements; RevenueCat does not replace Apple as the payment processor.

Automatic renewal: If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it renews according to the billing period and price disclosed during Apple's purchase flow unless canceled. Any available introductory offer or free trial, its duration, and the subsequent renewal price are presented at purchase. Prices and subscription options may vary by region or offer.

Cancellation: You can manage or cancel Apple-billed subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings, including through Apple's subscription management page. Deleting the UnToxic app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Cancellation ordinarily prevents the next renewal, and access typically continues until the end of the paid period, subject to Apple's terms and applicable law.

Refunds: Apple handles billing and refund requests for App Store purchases. You can request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem website. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Your Content and AI Outputs

You retain whatever rights you have in screenshots, messages, photos, and other content you submit. You grant us and our service providers the limited permission necessary to transmit and process submitted content in order to deliver the requested features, subject to the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your submissions do not violate applicable law or the rights of other people. We do not claim ownership of your private conversations or uploaded images.

AI-generated suggestions may be similar to outputs provided to others and may not be unique. You may use outputs for lawful personal purposes, but you are responsible for verifying accuracy, suitability, and any applicable third-party rights before using or publishing them.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, including dating outcomes or decisions based on AI outputs. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

If a conversation or situation feels unsafe, prioritize your own judgment and seek help from trusted people or local emergency and support services as appropriate.

Intellectual Property

We own or license the Service's software, branding, website design, and original content, excluding your submissions and third-party materials. Third-party product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Except as permitted by law, you may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the Service itself without permission. This restriction does not prevent lawful personal use of AI outputs as described above.

Availability, Termination, and Changes

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal obligations, or technical issues. We may update or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any obligations relating to purchased services.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required by law. Changes do not remove rights or remedies you already have under applicable consumer-protection law.
